Home is where the heart is. Hailing from the quiet, leafy surrounds of south-east Australia, Serena is a photographer, author and journalist who now calls Iceland her home.
Serena’s work places an emphasis on storytelling within the landscape – connecting with the land and immersing oneself in the rhythms and dangers associated with the living presence of this world. Well-known for her uniquely romantic photographic style and love for the winter season, she is not afraid of harsh conditions or embracing new challenges each and every day. Serena’s goal is to inspire others to make their own future and to turn their dreams into reality. As she says, “my story is about standing on the land's edge with no one else around, windblown with the sweet relief of a life and a place in this vast expanse."

Kaspars is a landscape photographer who believes that Icelandic nature has a profound impact on everyone. After exploring more and more of its hidden gems, he felt the need to pick up a camera and to document those places. It all started as a hobby, but then gradually, photography became an obsession and finally, a full time occupation.
Originally from Latvia, Kaspars has made a great effort to learn as much as possible about the Icelandic language, customs and culture. Above all, he loves to share this knowledge with others.
His biggest joy is to be ''out there'' in the wilderness and he believes that there are still many grand scenes in Iceland that have yet to be photographed. As such, he is continually on a quest to discover all of the hidden gems that Iceland has to offer.
